Don’t forget that many puppies have never been exposed to the loud noises of Fourth of July fireworks. Best to keep them inside with music on to mask the sound. You can also feed treats when loud noises occur. Don’t make a big deal over fussing. Just try to set the example of staying calm and relaxed. Crates are a great safe space for comfort. Many dogs will run when they hear the noises so keep a firm grip on your leash. Have a great and safe Fourth!
