Puppy Agreement & Guarantee

    • Breeder guarantees that this puppy has been properly cared for and is healthy and normal. The puppy has received its 1st shots and has been dewormed. Health records will be provided when you receive your puppy.  This puppy will have been checked by the breeder’s veterinarian and will have a health report to be provided to the buyer.
    • Buyer will have puppy checked by his or her veterinarian within the first 72 hours of ownership per sales contract or as close as possible considering travel and weekend pick up.  If said puppy is checked by a licensed veterinarian and found to have  a congenital defect, owner shall notify Breeder and provide a written statement from a licensed Vet describing the puppy’s condition and shall return the puppy to the breeder within 5 days of the examination. The breeder will replace the puppy if puppies are available or the original purchase price of the puppy, provided puppy is returned back to the breeder within 5 days. Sick is not defined as having parasites such as worms, coccidia, giardia, fleas, or mites as those can be common in dogs and puppies. Breeder is not responsible for Vet bills incurred by the buyer.
    • Breeder is not responsible if a puppy contracts a disease once it leaves the breeder’s possession.  Buyer must protect this puppy from all chances of contracting Parvo virus and other diseases by not exposing this puppy to public areas until all vaccinations have been achieved. 
    • Buyer agrees to have puppy checked by a licensed Veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving your puppy or as close as possible allowing for travel and weekend pick up.
    • Buyer agrees puppy must be spayed/neutered before or at one year of age or as recommended by your veterinarian when growth plates are fully developed ( Now usually between 12 and 18 months old).   Please follow best practices as set by Golden Retriever Club of America.   Buyer agrees to provide receipt of evidence that this procedure has taken place. Please send a copy of the medical bill to the breeder.
    • Buyer agrees this puppy will never be sold to a pet store, puppy mill, relinquished to an animal shelter, pound or animal rescue. If you are unable to keep the puppy for any reason, you must notify and return it to the breeder.  Breeder agrees to rehome this puppy.
    • Buyer agrees this puppy may only be registered with the American Kennel Club unless given privileges through breeder permission.  You will bring your AKC registration check with you to our puppy pick up day and it will be mailed in by the breeder.   You may also choose to bring a credit card and we can register online.  This puppy is being sold on a Limited AKC registration, which means simply that it may not be bred.
    • Buyer agrees to give this puppy proper medical care, agrees to groom, train, and care for this puppy consistently with best practices as recommended by your veterinarian. This includes flea and tick control, heart worm preventative medicine, safe daily exercise appropriate for the age of pup, fresh, nutritious foods, and clean water on a daily basis. The buyer also agrees that this puppy will not be left alone without companionship for long periods of time. Responsible pet owners have a plan in place for their pet’s well being when they must be absent, If said care is not provided, breeder has the right to have the puppy returned without a refund.
    • Buyer is advised NOT to take the puppy to public places or allow the puppy to socialize with other dogs that may be unvaccinated until the puppy’s immunizations are complete.
    • Your puppy has been fed a nutritionally complete premium large breed puppy dog food. If you prefer another type of food, it’s best to mix the two and gradually switch over. A sudden change will upset their stomach.
    • This guarantee is good for the original buyer and is not transferable.
